Fair Information and Last Minute Call Outs
Dear WCSS Community
Our Kambarang Fair and Open Day is this Saturday! Invite your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours; it is going to be a wonderful day. Posters are still available in Reception – please put one or two up in your local neighbourhood.
Our Elder-in-Residence, Grandma Freda, will be opening the Fair at 10am with a Welcome to Country followed by choir and orchestra performances.
We will have performances at the Fair Opening from 10am, and throughout the day on the main stage, in the classrooms and "pop-up" performances at the picnic tree. Please ensure your child is dressed in (preferably plain) rainbow colours and at their class by 9.45am - and please remember their instrument!
A reminder that children must be supervised throughout the day, if you are volunteering on a stall, or set up/pack down, please ensure you have arranged for someone to look after younger children during that time. And remember sunscreen, hat and water bottle! There will be a cash-out facility in Reception. Remember this is mainly a cash event so come prepared!
Kathy and Cheryl are running a Craft Circle in the Craft Room and students are welcome to bring their craft bag along and work on their current school project.
Please remember we are asking every family to bake something for the cake stall, be it a cake, batch of biscuits, muffins, bliss balls, slice etc. Please leave in the staff room on Friday or deliver to the cake stall in the Hub on Saturday morning with your container labelled and an ingredients list (nut and sesame-free, minimal dairy, shelf stable please).
Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who have signed up already. Please check if there are any spaces on your class roster or other rosters which might need some help, including helping with food prep and set up on Friday.

Last minute call outs!
- We are looking for lots of flowers, greenery and vines for flower crowns, as well as some palm fronds for the coconut shy. Please bring to the kindy veranda or leave by the staffroom on Friday or early Saturday morning.
- The Library will be running a fundraiser Book Stall. Please check your shelves and donate any books (for children or adults) outside the library before Thursday.
